Services for Frances Elizabeth Park, 90, will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, May 17 at the The Prestyn (formerly First Presbyterian Church) in Iowa Park, Texas, officiated by Dr. Isaac Butterworth. A family burial service will take place prior to the memorial service at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park.

Frances was born December 23, 1926 in Iowa Park, Texas and was the daughter of Gayle and Beth Park. Frances lived all her life in Iowa Park. She went to Iowa Park High School and graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She later received her Masters degree from Midwestern State University. Frances had a 38 year teaching career which began in Burkburnett, Texas and continued in Wichita Falls, Texas where she retired. She was a lifelong Presbyterian serving the church in many different capacities. Frances became the first woman elder of First Presbyterian Iowa Park in 1969, following in the footsteps of her grandfather Lowrance, who served as an elder many years.

Frances is survived by her sister Mary Gayle Ozee and husband James. Niece Gayle Burton and husband Ricky, nephew Chip Ozee and wife Debbie, nephew David Ozee and wife Donna. Two great nephews, four great nieces and five great-great nieces.
