Paula Diane Turner, 50, departed our world Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Iowa Park, Texas. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Dutton Funeral Home in Iowa Park, Texas.
Paula was born October 14, 1966 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Charles and Jacqueline Turner. In her younger life she was a wait staff for the Pioneer restaurant chain. She was a hard working woman who made many sacrifices in life to ensure her children were taking care of. She has often said her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her three children. She always put her children first and was very proud to watch them all graduate from college. Her family meant everything to her, she was a loving and compassionate momma, and Mawmaw to her nine grand-children. She was known for her beautiful blue eyes, smile and caring heart. She was the greatest cook around, she enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, her dinner table was always open and she shared her love for cooking with everyone. She was a devout Christian, she had a love for Jehovah that could not be measured. She was always willing to share the word of God with anyone willing to listen.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Craig Turner. Surviving relatives include her children James & Crystal Turner, Deon Morin, Melissa Morin & Brandon Miser; Grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Preston, Brayden, Hayden, Brynlee, Ella, Hannah, and Bella of Iowa Park; brothers, Larry Turner of Haltom City, TX and Brian Williams of Wichita Falls TX; sister, Leslie Hamilton of Calera, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Iowa Park Friendly Door senior citizens center.
